I can see why most of the pieces here were relegated to a second edition of AFD. Most of them are.... well, downright terrible. Pure shitty tweens, a complete lack of effort, and some god awful drawings. Very little animating skill is on display in this flash, it looks like a bunch of rookies. Especially compared to the first AFD4. The only really good piece I saw here would have to be numbers' piece. You should give him coauthor or something, those gory effects were beautiful. The hentai piece was OK... I do like to see anything that bashes hentai. But it came out in such a way that it seems like the person who made it actually enjoys that stuff, which is disgusting. At least that's the impression I got from it. And the Ken in Prison sequence... well... I have to say I'm getting tired of the Star Syndicate bashing, Logo. I know it is "fun" and it impresses all your buddies, but come on. Lay off a little. Not all SS members are that bad, right? Anyways, bah whatever. I didn't even factor the SS bashing into my scoring for this review.
This flash just wasn't very good. A lot like AFD3, and a lot less like AFD4.

Make AFD5 way better than this, please.

I always thought you were a great artist McBean, but I never thought you would make something quite as great as this.

At first this flash seemed completely random, but then I noticed a lot of parody in here that the average person watching this might not have noticed. I loved the white background song collab parody. Seemed like it was making fun of stupid collabs like One Love and Stop Crying your Heart Out . I also, of course, loved the parody of Marc M's Hans Dick JamesEarlJones. I FUCKIN LOVE THAT FLASH, MAN! Then I liked that parody of video game humor. Seemed like it might have been a jab at Decline of Video Gaming, maybe? And then, of course, you had a Stella parody in there.

All of this coupled with your obvious talent equals one amazing flash. The graphics were so friggin great... even the credits were a work of art. The sound was awesome, a lot of fine music used. I cracked up at the "I'm gonna eat your breakfast" part. When voices slow down it makes me laugh :(

If ever a flash deserved a ten, it's this one.

[GG - The Gost of You]

Good

This was good. I enjoyed it.

Graphics- best part. For the usual glock stuff, this was far superior to anything I've ever seen from you guys. The first part was definitely the best, had some fantastic artwork. Nice job on that guys.
Style- Nice. I think it set a good mood. The GG may indeed be revived from this, as long as it gets old members back. I don't think this day will really bring in too many new people though.
Sound- awful. My Chemical Romance? I hope you used the song as a joke :(
Violence- good. I liked the war scenes.
Humor- Not much.

Overall- Yeah guys, this was good. Very well made. But nothing else today impressed me at all. Roflmuffin's and mushroom's flashes were good but everything else was pretty bad. I think this day may be a futile effort if this is the ONLY truly good submission you can come up with. And it only got a 3.4... very underrated, to be fair. But can you blame them? They've voted low on all the other glock stuff today, why would they think this one is any different?

Anyways, next time you have a "day," have more than one submission like this one. Because this was very good. I bid you good day sirs!

OH GOD

I made a real life music video the the original version of this song. It was slightly similar to this. Except for the fact that this sucked terribly. The song is what ruined it for me... I mean really, what a TERRIBLE cover of a great song. Fucking metal bands are so gay lately. The original version by The Police was excellent, but this was absolute trash. There wasn't much animation to speak of, and I couldn't bear to suffer through it all the way to the end. The Cast Away references were OK, but GODDAMNIT at least use the original song! Christ this song blew. It was so slow and excruciating, and had no good tunes at all. The original is all fast paced, a very cool song. Go listen to it if you haven't already.

Need some help?

Gonna be honest with you here... the lip synching looked pretty terrible. I'll give you a few tips on it. First, stream the music. Then play the portion your lip synching to. Move your mouth to the lyrics of that portion, and if you need to look in a mirror to see what you mouth looks like when you say the different syllables. Then try to draw that mouth corresponding to that sound on the timeline. For example, a "sss" sound would look similar to a smile where the person shows their teeth. A "t" sound would show the tongue on the top of the mouth. I notice you never included any teeth or tongues in the animation, and those are both essential to lip synching, IMO.

On to the actual flash... I didn't enjoy it much. The drawings were pretty good, and I kinda like your drawing style though I've seen stuff like it many many times before. The song was also good. But the stuff going on in the flash had little to nothing to do with the song. Why does it start out with a mountain... then a guy... then another guy... then a flower? You should stick with the song and try to animate a story out of it instead of just having various characters sing to it. It seems like you sort of tried to stick with the story at the NastyMan part, but then all of a sudden you switch to some random shot of a brain. It would have been better to show NastyMan shooting stuff out of his head himself, instead of just a shot of a drawn brain on a black background. Next time try to time some of the action to the music, and make the action more relevant to the song (whether it be literally or symbollically). Also, make it funnier.

This is one of the worst flashes I've ever seen on the front page and with such a high score (Foamy Hurricane Special is the only one I can think of that tops it). The graphics here were *gasp* blamworthy, and the concept was wholly unoriginal (wow... never seen a Zelda parody before *yawn*)

Hey, no offense to the author though. It's not like you chose for this to get the score it did, or chose for this to make the front page.

I'm just amazed at the effectiveness of the whole "video game movie" strategy. It will automatically give you front page, I guess.

Also blam worthy graphics would be a white background with linear motion tweening, and no lip syncing.

Nice

This turned out quite good. Especially for only one day.

Graphics- as usual, love your drawing style. Nice shading. Also loved the backgrounds and flash 8 effects.
Sound- the charging sound was pretty awesome, and the music at the end was pretty cool.
Violence- BOOOM
Humor- Clock and Locks has been a bit overdone... but I loved the quote at the end :P

OVerall- swell job buddy. Next time I control your computer lemme draw some shit to include in yo flashes

Sound- I'm just thankful I have medieval total war on my computer or I'd be screwed over.

Humor: They're neat to draw because you can be very creative with them while not having to put a ton of animation into and still get a great effect.

Not bad

Graphics- the figures themselves could use some work, but your claymation is very smooth and fluid. If you had some better models to work with I think you'd be a great claymator. The backgrounds of the room and stuff was also very well done. You even had some sort of lighting set up. Very nice job.
Sound- It was extremely quiet and wasn't timed well with the flash. Work on that.
Violence- the zombie part was too quick and the ending could've been gorier.
Humor- the plot is extremely cliche and overused. I could see the ending coming from a mile away. I liked the little bone though.

Overall- I'm not a huge claymation fan but you are better than most. Better than Knox, at least

So much about this flash is amazing

The menu had fucking great music. LMAO at the Japanese parts of the song. As usual, love your menu icons.
The one with Truffle, you, and LogoPresents was extreme. I loved every bit of it. You very accurately portrayed Logo. "I do believe I can beat you at whatever game this is, because you are a star syndicate member" hahaha. I was talking to him on AIM and he thought it was funny too. Then when you showed gost and the seizure backgrounds similar to that one daily2oon, I loved it. Great flash 8 effects as well.
The one with all the reviews, forum posts, and AIM convos was TRULY classic. I loved how you had that one review from Blam_master and the funny response from DanPaladin... lmao good times.
The Foamy one was funny and I watched it for four hours :O

Overall, incredibly good and funny and original. Starberry, you are a fine flash artist.
