[Contradicting Lobotomy]

Hit and miss

I saw your post in the flash forum about making a sequel to this. The ones where it just had things standing there and some wierd music in the background were pretty stupid, but the Michael Jackson one was amazingly hilarious. The way it was all black and white and he goes "I wouldn't call it rape..." then a slow motion punch... damn man that was classic. Made me crack up, and rarely does something on ng make me literally laugh out loud (the stuff that does is in my favorites). If you have more random humor like that and those kinds of graphics that you had in the MJ one, you would have an unbelievably good flash on your hands. Good luck with the sequel man!

Those are all unfinished flashs (none will ever be finished) except for the MJ one.. hehe its an excerpt of one i'm workin on its like 70% done ..the other day i didnt save flash and my computer froze n i did so much on that so im takin a break lol

That was awesome

That fucking ruled. The improv was very well done, I mean very convincing. It came out seeming like a real situation. I especially liked the part with the onions, that was some top notch improv hahaha. The graphics weren't the highlight but they were good enough to get the job done. Great FBF work. The jokes about Jews were a little harsh and I can admit that the flash was a bit insensitive, but I can have a sense of humor about it, even such a terrible situation. Good job man, make more :D

Great flash, poor satire

This was some top notch flash animation, as I'm sure you already know. The graphics are very well done, and the flash was a pleasure to watch. This alone will probably make this flash or at least this series very popular, and you will probably be earning some front page honors pretty soon.
My problem with the flash was that it ended up being less of a 1950s satire and more of a 1990s sitcom satire. I mean I recognized every single cliche you used in the movie as being from some sitcom in the 90s, not in the 50s. The Home Improvement neighbor, for instance. And I know I've seen that turkey trick somewhere before. The humor could have been great in this flash (for instance, SHOWING the spousal abuse would have been comic gold!), but all of the jokes ended up being corny, and even if it was on purspose, it made for an unfunny flash. The only part I was amused by was the reference to "Misery."
I also had some problems with the sound. The voice acting was incredible, but everything else was very below average. There was no constant music and the audience laughter was inconsitent. You also used some Simpsons music, which seemed rather inappropriate.
Overall, I'd like to compliment you on your animating style, but I'd like to see you work on getting a better, funnier story for your next flash.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the original version was blammed from this site, correct? If so, it appears you actually listened to suggestions that you got from reviewers, who probably said something like "the violence was ok, just make it real people instead of sticks. It was also too slow in FBF maybe you should tween." I liked the fact that you actually took those types of reviews to heart. The flash turned out pretty awesome as a result. I hope other people who get blammed learn the same lessons as you did. This one just kept getting better as it went along.
